NEW LEADERSHIP DELIVERING RESULTS FOR OUR COMMUNITY
As a lifelong DeKalb County resident, I have great love and passion for DeKalb County. Over the years, I have served DeKalb County in many capacities. This gives many perspectives on the county that others may not have. I have served as a volunteer Firefighter for 7 years with DeKalb County Fire Department, currently at the rank of Lieutenant. I have been an Advanced EMT at DeKalb EMS making me a county employee as well for 5 years. I have volunteered with DeKalb Rescue Squad for approximately 2 years. I have also been a local realtor with Town and Lake Realty. Helping my community is a great honor to me! I would like to continue to help our county of DeKalb as the DeKalb County Mayor.

As a county mayor, I would strive to make our local county government as transparent as possible. I would use my christian morals and conservative values in decision making. Exploring grants for county services, bringing direct deposit to county employees, and keeping the community more aware and involved more than ever before are just a few of my goals upon entering office. Protecting our freedoms and preserving our rights is always on my mind. I demonstrated this when I was on the County Commission. I spearheaded the 2nd Amendment resolution for DeKalb County telling state and federal lawmakers DeKalb County wanted our rights to bare arms protected. I also stood against the creation of a community oversight committee that attempted to defund and micromanage our law enforcement. I want our leaders to be able to do just that, LEAD! I will prevent the micromanaging, and let DeKalb grow into the beautiful county it is destined to become!
